Space 1999 is the game you have been waiting for !
Featuring real time isometric 3D (for the first time ever on an Oric), high definition soundtrack and sound effects, full length intro sequence, and advanced gameplay. Space 1999 allows you to control your favorite characters from the tv hit series in an exclusive and original adventure.
Important!
This game is relatively complex, so make sure to look at the documentation folder, it contains maps of the base as well as a manual in PDF, including the keyboard mappings for the movement.
Interactions:
- 'M' step forward /advance in menus
- 'B' step backwards/back in menus
- 'Z' & 'X' turn anticlockwise and clockwise
- '-' & '=' Inventory selection
- 'CTRL' action key
- 'ESC' drop selected object in inventory
- 'T' switch characters
The active character is controlled by the classical rotate/advance system. You can rotate both clockwise and anti-clockwise as well as also step forwards of backwards.

System requirements
To play this game, you need an Oric ATMOS (the game is not Oric1 or Telestrat compatible) with a Microdisc unit, or an emulator providing the equivalent feature set.
The game is available in English and French, and comes ready to play with a Windows emulator. Each archive contains the complete game in DSK format (Microdisk compatible emulator file format), the maps of moon base alpha, the user manual and a read-me file.

Install instructions
This emulator is already configured to play the game. All you have to do is to unzip the archive, and then use LaunchGame.bat If you plan to run the game on a real Oric, you will find the actual game file (.dsk file) in the "Game" folder.
