Story

My name is Bocco, or rather all my friends call me that. 

When I was a kid, with the children on my street, we often played treasure-hunting.

On our street, there was an old man who gathered us in his porch and told us stories of kinds, missing civilizations and hidden treasures.

After years later, I realized he was an archaeologist. 

One day, when he was on his deathbed, he called me to see me.

There was a dusty trunk on the table that was full of old paper maps. 

That was his treasure. This is precious. Now all old cards are mine. 

I gathered my luggage and set off on the adventure.

I've been waiting for all my life.

How to play

Your objective is for Bocco to reach the exit of each level. This requires collecting keys to open closed doors, collect and use bombs to destroy walls, use switches to enable bridges to access normally inaccessible areas of the level.

Starting the game

After launching the game, press any key to pass the intro picture.

On the menu you get the following options:

• P - Play the game
• S - Story
• I - Instruction
• R - Redefine
• A - About

Game control

The "I" option of the main menu shows the list of all controls (which you can change with the "R"edefine option if you wish):

• Left/Right/Up/Down arrows to move in the Left, Right, Up or Down directions
• Space to use a bomb
• G to give up and return to the menu
• C to change between colored or black and white modes
• S to enable or disable the sounds
• T to change the display mode
• 0 to load the level
• ! to quit back to DOS

Level Editor

The DSK image contains level editor too - from main menu press '!' to exit the game and start editor with BOCCOED.
